Industry FAQ
Answers to the most common sourcing, logistics, quality and ordering questions from our clients.
What are your minimum order quantities (MOQs)? MOQs vary by product and packaging. For bulk liquids, a minimum of one ISO tank (approximately 17,500–24,000 L) or one FCL of drums/IBCs (typically 80–100 x 205 L drums per 20ft container) is standard. For green coffee, minimum orders are typically 1 x 20ft FCL (approximately 17–19 MT). Smaller quantities may be accommodated for sample purposes or for clients in active development discussions.
What are standard lead times from order to delivery? Lead times depend on origin, destination and product availability. For stock items, European delivery lead times are typically 5–15 business days from order confirmation. For sourced-to-order commodities, lead times range from 4–12 weeks depending on production and shipping schedules. Your account manager will confirm estimated lead times at the quotation stage.
What payment terms do you offer? We typically trade on Letter of Credit (LC) or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) payment terms. Payment against documents (PAD) and deferred payment terms may be available for established clients. Terms are confirmed at the contract stage.
Can you supply product with specific certifications (ISCC, Organic, Halal, Kosher)? Yes. We can source certified products across our full portfolio. Availability of specific certifications varies by origin and season. Please specify your certification requirements at the enquiry stage and we will confirm availability and any associated cost or lead time differences.
Do you offer price hedging or fixed-price contracts? For certain commodities including ethanol and coffee, price hedging against exchange-traded benchmarks (ICE, CME) can be discussed. We also offer fixed-price forward contracts for clients seeking price certainty. Please contact your account manager to discuss pricing structures.
How do I initiate a new order or enquiry? All enquiries can be submitted via our Contact page. Please include the product, estimated quantity, packaging preference, delivery destination and any certification requirements. A member of our commercial team will respond within one business day.
